PPE donations delivered to Redondo Beach and Hermosa Beach Police Departments!
In the beginning of pandemic everyone was struggling to find PPE & the Chinese American community pulled strings through import & export channels and was able to purchase face masks with the money donated by local Chinese American families in Palos verdes & South bay area of LA. PPE’s were delivered to local police department , firefighters , first responders, city halls, schools, and religious facilities .

In the early days of the pandemic, the first line of defense was face masks, but they are not available on the market. Chinese-American families were able to secure sizable air shipment of face masks and rubber gloves, quickly donated it to Los Angeles Police Departments, LA Fire Departments and the medical ship Mercy, through LA City Councilman, Joe Buscaino’s office.
Chinese American families also donated their own supplies that were in shortage in stores, such as toilet paper, hand sanitizer, cleaning product and other PPEs, donated to local senior homes that badly needed the Supplies.
