Lemonade and cookies fundraiser! Bridge to Inspire’s Secretary, Quincy Tao; Treasurer, Nicco Peng, and the President of Student Council, Aurora Wu, held a family style fundraiser which has attracted young followers in the neighborhood. The youngest volunteer, Ale, 5, was thrilled to make her first sale for a worthy cause.

Bridge to Inspire’s Student Council President, Aurora Wu, took the initiative to go door to door handing out the flyers and telling the stories of the MIA fundraiser.

Bridge to Inspire volunteers distributed flyers in front of Trader Joe’s to the local community in Rancho Palos Verdes. Members with musical talent played bamboo flute and guzheng to make the occasion fun and entertaining. A student member also designed 3D printed memotos with M.I.A symbol as a gift for the donors.

VOLUNTEER TRAINING

Quincy Tao, Secretary of Bridge to Inspire, gave an extensive training to our young volunteers in preparation for distributing flyers and promoting your cause in public. It involves public speech and techniques in breaking ice in social occasion.

Crystal Traditional Chinese Orchestra donated Girl’s Quartet Performance for our fundraiser dinner.
